,Back in 2007, the world was at the beginning of the Global credit crunch that ultimately led to the Global recession that devastated many businesses across the country. There was literally chaos everywhere. It was during this backdrop that two life-long friends – James Carson and Philip Bain met providentially at a missionary conference in the great Vic Ryn Café in Lisburn. Two businessmen in their own right – an oil man and a shredding man – decided to join forces and create something really special – an on-site shredding company!

Their paths hadn’t crossed in many years but in one cold March evening the chance encounter over tea and sandwiches led to setting up a business partnership that would lead to the creation of ShredBank – a company that would revolutionise document and data destruction in Northern Ireland. The blend of operational and commercial expertise and industry knowledge proved to be a winning formula and within a few months of meeting and James’s suggestion to set up a shredding company the company was literally on the road. The first mobile shredding truck was purchased and in October 2007, ShredBank opened their doors for business. Since then, ShredBank has become a multi award winning business serving thousands of clients across the country.

We are big into shredding and we do it better than anyone else because we care about the client and their data. Everything is shredded on-site giving complete security and peace of mind. And we are the only shredding company that does it exclusively on-site. ShredBank though is much much more. It is a multi – award winning company, it has achieved Investors in People Gold, and has spoken to literally thousands of entrepreneurs on how to start and grow a business – and even written three books on the subject called Start to Grow, Start to Lead and Start to Grow…again!! We have also raised over £100K for two very important charities – Alzheimer’s Research and The Prince’s Trust.

James and Phil are still at the helm of the business and in the thick of it – ensuring that world class customer experience is delivered every time.
